Let's face it, we are obsessed with ranking NBA players. The Lebron James versus Michael Jordan G.O.A.T. debate has been going on for years and it is still going strong. We love comparing players from different eras. We're always making tier lists of the top teams. We constantly find new ways to compare and rank players whether it's by position, skill set, height, or style. Not to mention that everyone has their personal top 10 greatest players of all time list. Ranking players is fun! We enjoy creating our lists and sharing them so that we can debate with friends.

Ranking players is done in many different ways. NBA analysts, content creators and fans alike create rankings and tier lists to share on social media. First, players are ranked in a single list or grouped into tiers. Next, the ranked list is converted into an image or simple text list. Finally, the rankings are shared and discussed on social platforms. There are various websites and apps that aid in creating rankings. Hoopgoat is exclusively for ranking NBA players and teams.
